About Scholix Publishers

We publish peer-reviewed research and make every article free to read, cite and reuse from the day it is published.

Scholix Publishing LLC was established to give researchers, clinicians and practitioners a dependable route to open access publication, with particular attention to work from regions and institutions that are underrepresented in international journals. Our journals are led by academic editors at universities and hospitals around the world and supported by a central editorial office in Austin, Texas.

We support the Budapest Open Access Initiative. Research should be available online without charge to readers, and free to reuse provided the authors and the original publication are credited.

Scholix publishes 20 journals across 9 subject areas. Each journal has its own editorial board and its own aims and scope; all of them share one set of editorial, ethical and licensing policies.

Editorial independence

Decisions on manuscripts are made by academic editors on the basis of peer review. Publishing staff and the payment of charges have no influence on editorial decisions.

Peer review

Every research article is assessed by at least two independent reviewers under a double-blind model. Read the peer-review policy.

Open access

Articles are published under the CC BY 4.0 license and authors keep the copyright. Read the open-access policy.

Research integrity

Submissions are screened for text similarity and checked against reporting guidelines. Our editors are guided by the COPE Core Practices. Read our publication ethics.

Persistent identifiers

Every article receives a DOI and is published with structured citation metadata, so it can be cited and found reliably.
