1Submission. Send the manuscript, cover letter and declarations to the editorial office for the journal you have chosen.
2Editorial check. The editorial office checks scope, formatting, completeness and text similarity before peer review.
3Peer review. At least two independent reviewers assess the manuscript under a double-blind model.
4Decision. The handling editor accepts, requests revision or declines, and shares all reviewer reports with the authors.
5Publication. Accepted articles are copyedited, typeset, assigned a DOI and published open access in the current issue.
